About us
Ajakantaika is a multi-sector company. In addition to accommodation, petting zoo, sauna world and program services, Ajakka’s Wild Food restaurant offers Ala Carte food made from domestic and largely local ingredients. In the summer, delicacies are also available at the summer cafe Laavu. We use game, fish from our own nearby lake and local berries, mushrooms and grain as raw materials. We only use pure basic ingredients in cooking.

Most of the ingredients are local – locally raised reindeer, fish from nearby lakes, mushrooms and berries from nearby forests, home-grown herbs as tea ingredients, home-grown root vegetables, cheese from the local dairy, etc. We use local barley to make Barletto (Ajaka’s risotto) – instead of rice, we use locally grown barley. Locality, domesticity and cleanliness – are our core values.
