akantaika is a multi-sector company, in addition to accommodation, petting zoo, sauna world and program services, Ajaka’s Wild Food restaurant offers Ala Carte food made from domestic and largely local ingredients in the restaurant and delicacies in summer in the summer cafe Laavu. We use game, fish from our own nearby lake and local berries, mushrooms and grain as raw materials. We only use pure basic ingredients in cooking.

This is the sweetest spot in Oulu and a real hidden gem! For ten years we have been making delicious chocolate products and creating amazing chocolate experiences! The chocolate factory, factory outlet and chocolate café are located in Oulu. As chocolate experiences, we produce: chocolate workshops, tastings and even chocolate yoga. We have been serving the people of Oulu since 1949, for more than seven decades. Our bakery is located in Pateniemi, Oulu. Some of our employees have been with us for more than 30 years, so long traditions and working relationships speak for our tasty products. We bake honestly and fairly. Most of the products are still baked by hand, from local ingredients.

Kujala tila sells local food from Hailuoto directly from the farm. Our beef is high-quality responsibly produced natural pasture meat, because our cattle graze in the summers on Hailuoto’s seaside meadows, while at the same time taking care of valuable traditional biotope landscapes. We are naïlo, an independent microbrewery located in Limingantulli, Oulu. naïlo was started in September 2021. Our main products are gourmet mushrooms grown in Oulu, including lion’s mane, shiitake, pearl oyster mushroom, king oyster mushroom, yellow oyster mushroom, and pink oyster mushroom. All are available both fresh and dried. We also offer supplies and materials for growing mushrooms at home or at your cottage.
