About us
Taiga Resort is a family-owned holiday village located in Asemakylä, Haukipudas, along the scenic Kiiminkijoki River in Oulu. We offer accommodation with a delicious breakfast, meeting and event venues, sauna evenings, a wide range of activities, and memorable food experiences for both travelers and domestic groups. We operate responsibly and participate in both the Biosphere and Sustainable Travel Finland programs.
Our products & services
Our food is tasty and genuinely Finnish. We make extensive use of local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Our Taiga Menu, tableserved for groups of a minimum of 15 people in the historic Onnela building at Taiga Resort, is our Arctic Food Lab product.
The menu begins with a starter of traditional creamy mushroom soup or our house-made malt bread with toppings. For the main course, we serve reindeer sauté with silky smooth mashed potatoes. A vegetarian version of the dish, made with Härkis, is also available.
Dessert is a lingonberry posset.
We offer the Arctic Food Lab menu made from local ingredients.
